Delft Daylight for the reopened National Gallery of Ireland
After six years of refurbishment and renovation works, the National Gallery of Ireland re-opens its Historic Wings for the public today. The architectural office Heneghan Peng made natural light one of the central themes of their design.
OV Terminal Breda Best Building of the Year
The BNA (Branch Association of Dutch Architectural Firms) has hailed Public Transport Terminal Breda as the Best Building of the Year 2017. The jury praises the monumental building for its innovative typology and strong relationship with the city. Octatube congratulates Koen van Velsen with this prestigious distinction.
Installation access bridge Ruurlo Castle
This week the assembly of the walkable glass units and glass balustrades has been completed, after installing the stainless steel bridge parts onto the pile foundation last week.
Bouwwereld - Rokin 49
"The semicircular roof of Rokin 49 is composed of prefabricated curved elements with hot bent glazing fixed onto a rhombus/shaped steel structure. The steel structure consists of square hollow sections joined together with welded connections at an angle."
Undulating roof for new Passageway Tilburg
In the coming years the city centre of Tilburg will be made more attractive with a number of large-scale renewal and intervention projects. One of these projects is a new connection between the Heuvelstraat and the Pieter Vreedeplein. This is where Octatube is closely involved in the design and realization of a spectacular new shopping passageway with an undulating roof.
On site activity in London
